Presented by Shannon Martin, Ziibiwing Center of Anishinabe Culture & Lifeways and Stacy Tchorzynski, State Historic Preservation Office

The Sanilac Petroglyphs Historic State Park protects and interprets Michigan’s largest known collection of early Native American teachings carved in stone. This park educates us about the past and strengthens our relationships with the environment and each other. Join us to learn about the park’s history, future, and how you can help preserve this important place for generations to come.

Both the Sanilac Petroglyphs and Thunder Bay National Marine Sanctuary’s Great Lakes Maritime Heritage Center are Michigan History Center Museums and Historic Sites. Learn more about each site at www.michigan.gov/mhc
