On Saturday, May 31st and Sunday, June 1st, you can catch “More Fire, More Water,” the latest episode of Great Lakes Now from Detroit PBS. The episode will cover, fighting wildfires with centuries-old practices, why rainfall is getting more intense, and the story of snow mobiles, then and now.

The Great Lakes Maritime Heritage Center is open from 8am to 5pm, seven days a week. The last weekend of every month is a “Great Lakes Now weekend” where we show the latest episode from Great Lakes Now, a product of Detroit PBS.

The episode will play in the theater all weekend while the Great Lakes Maritime Heritage Center is open. The center is always free of admission and offers 10,000 square feet of exhibit space to explore!
