On Saturday, September 27th and Sunday, September 28th, you can catch “Casting Lines and Listening In,” the latest episode of Great Lakes Now from Detroit PBS. The episode will focus on researchers eavesdropping on forests, fishing for lake trout, and the rights of nature.
The Great Lakes Maritime Heritage Center is open from 8am to 5pm, seven days a week. The last weekend of every month is a “Great Lakes Now weekend” where we show the latest episode from Great Lakes Now, a product of Detroit PBS. This is a free event open to all. The episode will play in the theater all weekend while the Great Lakes Maritime Heritage Center is open. The center is always free of admission and offers 10,000 square feet of exhibit space to explore!
