Our Great Lakes Now weekends are always the last weekend of the month.
On Saturday, April 26th and Sunday, April 27th you can catch “Battling Invaders and Exploring Hidden Habitats,” in the theater at the Great Lakes Maritime Heritage Center.
In this episode of Great Lakes Now, fighting invasive phragmites on the Lake Huron shoreline, mapping the lake bottom and the things that live there, and the future of the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative.
The Great Lakes Maritime Heritage Center is open Saturday from 10am to 5pm and Sunday from 12pm to 5pm. The last weekend of every month will be a “Great Lakes Now weekend” where we show the latest episode from our partners at Great Lakes Now and Detroit PBS.
This is a free event open to all.
The episode will play in the theater all weekend while the Great Lakes Maritime Heritage Center is open. The center is always free of admission and offers 10,000 square feet of exhibit space to explore!
