On Saturday, October 25 and Sunday, October 26, you can catch “Lost Ships and Newsworthy Trees,” the latest episode of Great Lakes Now from Detroit PBS. The episode will highlight exploring shipwreck sanctuaries (part of it is filmed in Thunder Bay National Marine Sanctuary!) and a forest that fueled a media empire.
The Great Lakes Maritime Heritage Center is open:
Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
Saturday 10am to 5pm
Sunday 12pm to 5pm
The last weekend of every month is a “Great Lakes Now weekend” where we show the latest episode from Great Lakes Now, a product of Detroit PBS.
This is a free event open to all. The episode will play in the theater all weekend while the Great Lakes Maritime Heritage Center is open. The center is always free of admission and offers 10,000 square feet of exhibit space to explore!
