Majestic Ships Set Sail for Alpena July 15-17, 2022
Tall Ships return to Alpena, July 15-17, 2022 for the Festival of Sail Alpena. Gates open each day from 10 AM to 6 PM.
“We’re excited to bring this incredible festival, along with the World’s Largest Rubber Duck to Alpena,” said Festival of Sail producer Craig Samborski. “Alpena’s previous history with the ships, layout and partnership with the Great Lakes Maritime Heritage Center made for an excellent fit,” added Samborski.
The popular festival will encompass the Great Lakes Maritime Heritage Center’s waterfront with an impressive line up of majestic ships from as far away as Seville Spain. The line-up includes: Nao Trinidad from Spain, US Brig Niagara, Pride of Baltimore II, and the World’s Largest Rubber Duck.
The event has something for everyone needing a Tall Ships fix; onboard tours, dock side tours and a full complement of vendors, artisans, food, music, entertainment and a craft beer garden.
